Today’s clinical practice necessitates consideration of a myriad of ethical issues.  How well do you balance conflicts between personal and professional values, your duties, and current liability risks?  The purpose of this workshop is to provide practicing mental health professionals with guidance in order to negotiate many of these issues.  Rather than focus on what psychologists need to do to avoid punishment, this workshop will focus on helping psychologists think through challenging ethical dilemmas.

• Discuss how to respond appropriately to ethical dilemmas related to the client-therapist relationship.

• Anticipate and resolve ethical challenges in their practice.

FEES:

This workshop is free for members of SOS, PSCP, and staff at the host school. There is a $50.00 admission fee for others. CE credits and Act 48 credits are $45.00 each. Payment must be made online, by check, or money order made out to SOS. NO CASH PLEASE.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

You are holding a spot so reservations for this workshop are non-refundable. If you cancel at least 48 hours before the event, you will be issued a credit memo (minus a $10 transaction fee) to use for another SOS workshop within the year.

• To earn CE/Act 48 credits, you will use a device that is equipped with a functioning camera so that you can be seen by the presenter, administrator, and fellow workshop attendees.
• You will return necessary documents by the specified deadlines including your completed workshop evaluation by 9pm the day of the program
