Executive Functioning is a current “buzz” word, though it has been a focus in the study and practice of Occupational Therapy for many years. The development of Sensory Processing abilities in the early years is the foundation for the subsequent emergence of executive functions. This workshop will describe how the developmental hierarchy of learning impacts important executive function skills, including the ability to organize, to write what you are thinking, to adhere to timelines, and to be disciplined in study methods.
